ALBANY, GA – Albany Technical College will have a special Refresh of the Industrial Operations Technology (IOT) Program at the Center for Business Solutions at Albany Technical College, Tuesday, March 23, at 10:00 a.m. in room 114. Instructors, officials, and graduates will be on hand to talk about the opportunities of the program. ATC Honors Board Members Robert Chester and Lem Griffin.

ALBANY, GA – In 2020, Albany Technical College (ATC) lost two very committed friends of the college. To honor these two ATC supporters, the college will host two special campus dedications in honor of Lemuel Griffin, a member of the Albany Tech Foundation Board of Trustees and Robert Chester, a member of the Albany Technical College Board of Directors. 

Carlton Construction Academy.

ALBANY, GA –The official Ribbon Cutting of Carlton Construction Academy Phase II is scheduled for Thursday, March 11 at 10:00 AM on the corner of Lippitt Drive and Slappey Boulevard in Albany. A group of faculty, staff and the Carlton Family will be on hand to cut the ribbon. The event will be live on Albany Technical College’s official Facebook page.  A virtual tour video link will be provided on the event’s Facebook page for those interested in seeing the inside of the new facility.

ALBANY, GA – Albany Technical College is celebrating 60 years in service to the community and kicks off the official celebration this week. The college decided that the theme for the 60th Anniversary would be "A Tradition of Success," symbolizing Albany Tech's service to the region for 60 years.

In the Top 6 of 25 schools named in Georgia with a Gold Designation

Albany, GeorgiaAlbany Technical College (ATC) has been awarded a 2021-2022 Military Friendly® School Gold Designation by VIQTORY, a service-disabled, veteran-owned small business (SDVOSB) that connects the military community to civilian employment, educational and entrepreneurial opportunities through its G.I. Jobs ®, Military Spouse, and Military Friendly ® brands. The 2021-2022 List of "Better for Veterans" institutions was identified across the country, and all participating schools were contacted in February informing them of their ranking. Twenty-Five colleges and universities in Georgia made the 2021-2022 Military Friendly® Schools final list, and only six were identified as Gold.
