ALBANY, GA – Albany Technical College is celebrating 60 years in service to the community and kicks off the official celebration this week. The college decided that the theme for the 60th Anniversary would be "A Tradition of Success," symbolizing Albany Tech's service to the region for 60 years.

In the Top 6 of 25 schools named in Georgia with a Gold Designation

Albany, GeorgiaAlbany Technical College (ATC) has been awarded a 2021-2022 Military Friendly® School Gold Designation by VIQTORY, a service-disabled, veteran-owned small business (SDVOSB) that connects the military community to civilian employment, educational and entrepreneurial opportunities through its G.I. Jobs ®, Military Spouse, and Military Friendly ® brands. The 2021-2022 List of "Better for Veterans" institutions was identified across the country, and all participating schools were contacted in February informing them of their ranking. Twenty-Five colleges and universities in Georgia made the 2021-2022 Military Friendly® Schools final list, and only six were identified as Gold.

ALBANY, GA –Albany Technical College will have a special refresh presentation highlighting the Medical Assisting Program Wednesday, February 24, at 10:00 AM in the Nathanial Cross Health Technology Building (HCT), room 128. This event will be live on Facebook. A small group of College leadership and faculty and students or graduates will be on hand to comment and discuss the Program.

A small group of College leadership and faculty will be on hand to comment and celebrate the latest addition to Albany Technical College, a new Barbering Lab.

Albany, Georgia - Albany Technical College has adapted to the needs of the current and future teaching environment by acquiring two state of the art interactive virtual classrooms utilized by instructors. The weConnect virtual classroom allows for a quickly deployable and easy-to-use real-time distance learning solution. The goal is to reduce the passive watching of one-directional webinars. Parents can rest assured that Dual Enrolled students can take classes remotely while maintaining the interactivity that is so important in the learning process. This new approach increases interactivity levels and quality standards for all students across every discipline on campus.
