A Memorandum of Understanding to be signed Tuesday between Albany Technical and the City & County Governments of Albany, Dougherty County

Albany, Georgia- Albany Technical College has been selected as the fiscal agent of a Defense Grant, offered by the Technical College System of Georgia Office of Workforce Development. 

This Defense Community Economic Development Fund will directly impact the lives of military veterans and their spouses in the local community. Albany Technical College will enter into a one-year agreement with City and County Governments of Albany, Dougherty County. A Memorandum of Understanding will be signed Tuesday morning, June 11, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. in Albany Technical College’s Logistics Education Center, Executive Board Room (second floor). 

ATC- Foundation Presents Around The World Fundraiser event.

Albany, Georgia – The Albany Tech Foundation will hold its annual fundraiser event on Friday, May 31, 2019, beginning at 6:30 pm in the Kirkland Conference Center, with a Silent Auction beginning at 6pm in the atrium of the Kirkland Conference Center.

Albany Technical College Memorial Day Ceremony

Albany, Georgia – Albany Technical College will hold its annual Memorial Day Program on Friday, May 24, 2019, beginning at 10 a.m., in the Kirkland Conference Center. Memorial Day is traditionally a day in the United States where we gather to honor persons who have died while serving in the United States Armed Forces. Keynote speaker for the Albany Tech ceremony will be Colonel Alphonso Trimble, Commanding Officer, Marine Corps Logistics Base in Albany, Georgia.

Albany Technical College Success Terms Information Session

Albany, GeorgiaAlbany Technical College will hold special information sessions explaining the new bold approach to the semester system; Success Terms 7 + 7 semesters.Sessions will be Thursday, May 23, at 10:00 am and 5:30 pm in the Kirkland Conference Center on the campus of Albany Technical College.  Dr. Emmett Griswold, Vice President of Academic Affairs, will present two sessions explaining, in more detail, how this new approach will work.  The general public, faculty, staff and students will have a chance to learn more about the bold new approach to taking classes.
