ADMISSIONS TESTING ALERT: Due to the current COVID-19 situation, Technical College System of Georgia Colleges has suspended Accuplacer Next Generation Admissions test. The TCSG Colleges is suspending the provisions of the attached Admission Procedure 6.2.1p that require student testing and submission of official transcripts for purposes of admission. This change will be in effect for the upcoming Spring (January 2021-May 2021) Summer (May 2021-August 2021) and Fall (August 2021-December 2021) semesters, dates subject to change. Albany Technical College will continue to use reasonable measures to evaluate students’ readiness for specific programs that are consistent with the academic standards applicable to the program such as our healthcare programs.

Testing Dates for Healthcare Technology Programs
$20 testing fee is required to schedule NAT and PSB Testing (fee is subject to change). Appointments must be scheduled with the Testing center and you must have a picture I.D. to take the test.
TEAS, NAT AND PSB EXAM ALERT: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the dates for the TEAS exam has changed. Below are the new test dates and the application deadline for Nursing has been extended until July 1, 2020.

Albany Technical College Announces Change in Surgical Technology and Medical Assisting Program Admission Testing Procedures
Albany Technical College is announcing a temporary change in Surgical Technology and Medical Assisting programs admissions testing requirement. Due to challenges faced by COVID-19, the College is temporarily waving the Psychological Services Bureau (PSB) exam requirement effective December 31, 2020.
New Admissions PSB Waiver Policy Details
Students who have successfully completed the prerequisite courses with a grade of “C” or higher and have a minimum of a 2.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale to be eligible for a progression into course with the Surgical prefix. General Core Courses (ENG1101, MATH 1111 or MATH 1101, PSYC 1101, ALHS 1090, BIOL 2113/L, BIOL 2114/L, BIOL 2117/L a Humanities/Fine Arts Elective, a General Cor requirement from Area I – IV must be completed to progress into the Surgical Technology courses.
High School Diploma or GED
High School diploma or GED, required for enrollment. Applicant must be at least 17 years old. Psychological Services Bureau (PSB) temporary waiver.
