The Business Management program is designed to prepare students for entry into management positions in a variety of businesses and industries. Graduates of the program receive a Business Management diploma or degree with a specialization in General Management, Human Resource Management, Operations Management, Service Sector Management, or Small Business Management.

The Business Office Assistant Technical Certifcate of Credit is designed to provide inclusive higher education experiences that supports positive employment outcomes for individuals with intellectual and/or cognitive disabilities in preparation for a career in any business office. Graduates with this certificate are prepared to perform a variety of duties in any office clerical occupation that requires knowledge of office systems and procedures. Along with taking credit classes, the participants will be required to participate in human resource development workshops, social community integration, job shadowing and internships.

This certificate is a vital component of the - Leveraging Education for Advancement Program (LEAP) for Inclusive Learning. This is a program of study for unique learners who are highly motivated young adults who have a developmental or intellectual disability. “Intellectual disability is a disability characterized by signi cant limitations in both intellectual functioning and in adaptive behavior, which covers many everyday social and practical skills” (**AAIDD)

Acceptance into L.E.A.P. is a competitive application process. Successful applicants will have typically received extensive special education services in their secondary schools, graduating with a special education diploma, certificate of attendance or alternative diploma or been awarded their diploma via HB 91 and would be denied access to a traditional college degree program. The Business Technology program is designed to prepare graduates for employment in a variety of positions in today’s technology-driven workplaces.The Business Technology program provides learning opportunities, which introduce, develop, and reinforce academic and occupational knowledge, skills, and attitudes required for job acquisition, retention, and advancement.The program emphasizes the use of word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, and database applications software. Students are also introduced to accounting fundamentals, electronic communications, internet research, and electronic file management.The program includes instruction in effective communication skills and technology that encompasses office management and executive assistant qualification and technology innovations for the office. Also provided are opportunities to upgrade present knowledge and skills or to retrain in the area of business administrative technology. Graduates of the program receive a Business Technology Diploma with a specialization in one of the following: Business Administrative Assistant or Medical Administrative Assistant.

The program will prepare students for immediate employment at the technical level in engineering design, drafting, surveying and construction. The program will provide theory and practice to move into the workforce with engineering consultants, surveying firms, state and local government, public works, construction companies, highway departments, and soil and material testing firms. Specific employment positions include land surveyor, engineering technician, project manager, municipal engineer, and environmental specialist. The program will consist of two specialization areas, a general track or surveying specialization. Students may choose to complete either track for an A.A.S. degree.

The Computer Information Systems Computer Support Specialist program is a sequence of courses designed to provide students with an understanding of the concepts, principles, and techniques required in computer information processing. Graduates are to be competent in the general areas of humanities or fine arts, social or behavioral sciences, and natural sciences or mathematics, as well as in the technical areas of computer terminology and concepts, program design and development, and computer networking. Program graduates are qualified for employment as computer support specialist.

The Cosmetology program is a sequence of courses that prepares students for careers in the field of cosmetology. Learning opportunities develop academic and professional knowledge and skills required for job acquisition, retention, and advancement. The program emphasizes specialized training in safety, sanitation, state laws, rules, and regulations, chemistry, anatomy and physiology, skin, hair, and nail diseases and disorders, hair treatments and manipulations, hair shaping, hair styling, artificial hair, braiding/intertwining hair, chemical reformation and application, skin and nail care, hair coloring, hair lightening, reception, sales, management, math, reading, writing, interpersonal relations development, computer skills, employability skills, and work ethics. The curriculum meets state licensing requirements of the State Board of Cosmetology. Program graduates receive a Cosmetology diploma and are employable as a cosmetology salesperson, cosmetologist, salon manager, or a salon owner.

The Culinary Arts degree and diploma programs are a sequence of courses that prepares students for the culinary profession. Learning opportunities develop academic, occupational, and professional knowledge and skills required for job acquisition, retention, and advancement. The program emphasizes a combination of culinary theory and practical application necessary for successful employment. Program graduates receive a Culinary Arts degree or diploma. Graduates who are current practitioners will benefit through enhancement of career potential. Entry-level persons will be prepared to pursue diverse opportunities in the culinary field as cooks, bakers, or caterers/culinary managers.

The Computer Information Systems’ Cybersecurity program is a sequence of coursesdesigned to provide students with an understanding of the concepts, principles, and techniques required in computer information processing. Program graduates are qualified for employment as information security specialists.

The Drafting Technology Associate of Applied Science degree and diploma programs prepare students for employment in a variety of positions in the drafting field, such as drafter, CAD operator or Civil Tech based on the specialization area a student chooses to complete. The Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology program is a planned sequence of carefully developed college level courses designed to prepare students to work in the field of electronics and computer engineering technology. Program graduates will receive an Electronics and Computer Engineering Technology Associate of Applied Science degree, qualifying them as engineering technicians with a specialization in computer engineering technology, electronics engineering technology, instrumentation and control technology, or telecommunications engineering technology.
