Hotel Sales and Catering Manager We have an immediate opening for an experienced Hotel Sales and Catering Manager who has a passion for delivering award winning service, exhibits exceptional salesmanship and understands how to achieve company wide expectations regarding bottom line profitability. Must have prior Hotel Sales experience to be considered. The ideal candidate will possess experience in a high volume banquet facility, understand food and beverage costs, banquet set-ups, banquet BEOs, RFP processes, sales solicitations including contracts and proposals, inside and outside sales calls and knowledge of the regional Corporate Market. Candidates who have OnQ and Sales-pro (or like sales system) experience are highly encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities: •Must have outstanding "self driven" capabilities demonstrated by one’s ability to achieve award winning service, revenues, market share (STAR) and profit margins (i.e. selling at the "right" prices). •Responsibilities include but not limited to conducting outside/inside sales calls, prospecting via in person and through telephonic means, conducting site tours, cold calls, account maintenance and drafting proposals and contracts for approval. •Must have extensive prior hotel Sales & Marketing managerial experience with like hotels. Must understand contracts, RFP proposal processes, Sales Pro (or like sales contact manager), banquet BEO’s, sales solicitation including contracts and proposals. •Responsible for assisting with drafting and executing the hotels Sales & Marketing Business Plan and Operating Budget.
