November 03, 2009 -  (WALB) With virtually a new starting lineup and key players off the bench, Albany Tech got the perfect opening opponent against a team from Moody Air Force Base.

The Titans open the season with a 113-69 win over Moody.

Wilbur Lakes and Dominque Polite both had 19 points each for the Titans.

Moody kept it close early thanks to the shooting of Quinton Williams who had 21 points.

Albany Tech though pulled away and had a double digit lead midway through the first half.

The Titans schedule will get harder when Albany Tech plays at Northwest Florida Community College on Friday night in Niceville, Florida.
