Georgia Justice Project

The Albany Technical College Special Populations Department now has applications available for the following services under the Georgia Justice Project:

Georgia Justice Project-Criminal Records Program

This project assists individuals who are actively trying to find employment or housing, but are having difficulty because of a Georgia criminal history.

Request To Restrict (Expunge) Arrest Record

Georgia Bureau of Investigation provides for the restriction of certain criminal history records for non-criminal justice purposes when approved

Pardon/Restoration of Rights

This program will allow persons to apply for:

  • Restoration of Civil and Political Rights
  • Pardon
  • Restoration of Right to Receive, Possess or Transport in Commerce a Firearm
  • Pardon exception
